Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Warmer weather is sure to be around the corner! Enjoy more daylight, warmer temps, and spending time outdoors. April also brings several holidays to celebrate! Remember to take advantage of the many activities Bretton Woods has to offer, including pickleball, golf, bocce, and water aerobics in our indoor pool. Read the Bretton News for information on upcoming events and club activities. Spring is a time of rebirth, try something new!
SMOKE DETECTOR INSPECTIONS:
The Town of Brookhaven mandates semi-annual smoke detector inspections. If you would like to volunteer for this very important community project, please contact our Smoke Detector Chairperson, Jasmine Hawk, at (401) 533-1364. Volunteers do not enter the units, but remain outside the door, providing each resident with a can of spray to test his/her own detector. Your assistance is needed and very much appreciated, so we can complete the inspections next month during May.
HOUSEKEEPING:
To prevent lines backing up and costly repairs… Never, ever pour grease down the drain! If you fry food, put the cooled, used grease in a coffee can in the dumpster.
Flushing the kitchen drain with hot or boiling water once a month also helps to keep it clear!
Avoid costly repairs! Items such as paper towels, tissues, diapers, and feminine products should not be disposed of in the toilet. This includes “flushable” wipes.
LANDSCAPING:
Naturescape will be on the premises to begin Spring Clean-up, weather permitting.
PARKING:
We understand parking is sometimes a problem and it may not always be possible to park close to your unit. Please be considerate of your neighbors and remember to move your vehicle to our designated Long-Term parking area in Parking Plaza 16A if you will not be moving it for 5 or more days.
Please submit all requests/concerns to the Board in writing for the audit trail of potential Condominium expenditures.
If you leave a note at the clubhouse exterior mailbox or the HOA office, a Board member will contact you.
