Condo IV – October 2025
Our next Condo IV meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 8th, and open to all condo IV residents at 7:00p.m. in the clubhouse library. Please join us and share your new ideas and suggestions.
Reminder:
Water: Excluding an emergency, if you have to turn off the water in your unit for a plumbing repair, you MUST advise the HOA with a work order 24 hours before the shut off is to occur to allow residents in your building to be prepared. Only maintenance is authorized to shut off the water.
Days are cooler, nights are longer, and leaves are falling! Please drive with extra care as wet leaves on the asphalt reduce traction under your tires. Please stop at the stop signs and observe the speed limit.
Fall colors are beautiful this time of year, and there are lots of fun things to do with kids and family, such as pumpkin picking, apple picking, fall harvest fairs, and various festivals to attend, and maybe even baking.
Our landscapers will take care of all the leaves and rake when needed. The gutters will be cleaned after all the leaves have fallen. Please do not close the inside shut-off valve if you have one until we have notified you. In order for the landscapers to clean the gutters, they will need access to the water hoses.
Many of our neighbors will venture out and travel to warmer places. Travel safely, and have a wonderful winter. Remember to pick up your door mats, leave a telephone number where you may be contacted, and a key with a friend or neighbor. If you are going to be away for an extended period of time, set home heat at 55-60 degrees to prevent frozen pipes.

Reminder:
We need to stress again that all dogs should be kept on a leash at all times. They should never be left alone on your patio. Please be considerate of your neighbors and clean up after them!
October 2nd -We’d like to wish a very very Happy Healthy 99th birthday to our neighbor Alice Coccorese! We hope you enjoy your very special day! Alice is very active and often seen at the clubhouse, involved in various card games, or just enjoying the pool, and sometimes attending the various parties at the clubhouse.
Days to remember Holidays and Observances:
Monday, October 1st – Yom Kippur begins – Day of Atonement and holiest day of the year in Judaism.
Monday, October 13th – Columbus Day- This is a national holiday and is the anniversary of Christopher Columbus’s arrival in America on October 12, 1492. This holiday is always celebrated on the 2nd Monday in October. Many schools and offices are closed.
Friday, October 31st – Halloween- One of the most fun, beloved October holidays for kids, adults, and even some of our pets who dress up in costumes, go trick or treating, or attend parties. As a REMINDER, PLEASE DRIVE WITH CAUTION, as our children may be trick-or-treating.
“Let us all remember that happiness is a choice that we decide ourselves. Look in the mirror and give yourself a big smile! Be thankful!
